More than 100 NetLeaders Advocates from around the world gathered at the NetLeaders Leadership Event at the Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong this weekend to participate in the company’s latest global summit. The previous events organized by NetLeaders were held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in late November, preceding a 45-day road show through Southeast Asia, China, the Baltics, Central Europe, Eastern Europe, Northern Europe, and the British Isles.
Attending the Hong Kong event were participants from at least five continents, many of whom also attended the Dubai and Abu Dhabi Global Leadership Summit. Island Shangri-La proved to be a very accommodating and ideal backdrop, given its proximity to China and Southeast Asia, two areas that were well represented by attendees this weekend.
To global fanfare, Michael Mathias unveiled the DasCoin Block Explorer during Sunday’s session, demonstrating how blocks are created on DasCoin’s proprietary Blockchain. Michael detailed how Transfers, Cycle Submissions, Account Registrations, Tethered Accounts, License Issue Requests, and Cycle Issue Requests function on the Blockchain and also reviewed the nomenclature of Block IDs and Master Node Signatures.
Michael also shared a draft of an exploratory DasCoin White Paper titled Das Coin: A Convertible Store of Value Unit within a Digital Asset System. The document discusses how the DasCoin Blockchain establishes a system for securely creating and exchanging cryptographic assets, combining features of centralized and decentralized approaches. Key concepts such as Proof of Value Distribution, Proof of License Consensus, and Authentication are covered along with details about Transactions Ledgers, Decentralized Consensus, the High-Speed Node Network, and Middleware. Additionally, the White Paper also details the DasCoin Minting process, Blockchained Internal Exchange, Governance of the Network, and Audit and Integrity Verification.
Attendees in Hong Kong also listened to detailed presentations about the DasCoin Ecosystem and ongoing initiatives to create dynamic utility within the Ecosystem. These initiatives relate to trading exchanges, mobile payments via digital enablement, and various use cases that can be supported by the Ecosystem.
Finally, attendees listened attentively as African government and infrastructure development officials discussed how the DasCoin Blockchain and related Ecosystem technologies can solve real-world problems they currently face, and streamline complex processes across many countries. The African contingent also attended and participated in the Dubai and Abu Dhabi Global Leadership Summit, and this weekend’s Hong Kong event culminated in the execution of a detailed Letter of Intent related to the opportunities to deploy Blockchain and related technologies in Africa.
Judging by the level of enthusiasm following the NetLeaders Leadership Event in Hong Kong and the frenetic pace of follow-up webinars, meetings, and presentations, the NetLeaders and DasCoin communities enjoyed Hong Kong and look forward to the next leadership summit, details of which will be announced soon.
